A column in the "mystery" section of the newspaper reads. . .Strange Crystal Left in Marmeca Town Suddenly Vanished After the valiant effort of the brave adventurers from Geiselburg in taking back the town of Marmeca, a huge task of town repair went underway almost immediately. Strangely, one thing is missing in the town. The adventurers reported a walking house, animated by the power of a strange red crystal that's affixed on the house. They also reported that they left the destroyed crystal remains in the town, as it did not pose anymore threat. Yet, when the builders arrived in the town, they said that they did not see any remains of smashed crystal. Who could've removed it from the scene? Or yet. . . what could've removed it from the scene? For what purpose? My prevailing theory is that the crystal removed itself from the scene, and is looking for another host. How to accomplish : Must have at least Learning 1 or Perception 1 (Yields different results). Completes in (25/Attribute Score) days (rounded up, doesn't have to be consecutive days). During their first encounter with the house, Fenris remembers the scent of the crystal. He made direct contact with it. He kicked the crystal, once, and the scent that seeps out from the small crack is something that he would never forget. How could a strong concentration of Ether smell so much like.. blood and death? When Fenris learned about what happened with Red and Sirichar, he regretted the time when he first encountered the Living House and failed to stop it, believing that he is part of the blame for his friends' conditions after they met with the Living House. After seeing the newspaper column, Fenris immediately acted with impulse, without telling any one of his friends. He thinks that this is the only way for him to make things right. He was one of the people who had direct contact up close and personal with the large crystal, and so he decided to sniff out the crystal's whereabouts. On the vicinity of where the battle took place, Fenris tries to sniff out for shards and residues of what is left of the crystal. He will also try to find and ask the newspaper columnist who wrote the piece, on how he gets the theory on how the crystal 'removed itself from the scene', along with any further information about Alieth Livingstone or the crystal. Perhaps to find out more places where he can sniff out traces of the crystal. He will also try to ask around the cleanup crew of the location for any debris stored in garbage yards, hoping to find any trails from there as well. Attribute: Perception 3

Result for Fenris will be revealed in this post when the campaign reaches DAY 97
Fenris asked the columnist first on where he gets his theory. It's simple. There are no tracks, no sign of it being moved, no trace or residue of it. His only explanation is that the crystal went up and flew to find for a new host.
But you find what no normal adventurers can. There are tracks. Scent tracks, something that only a beastfolk would look for. Someone, smelling like chemicals that are foreign to you, lingers around where the crystal was. Tracking the scent, reveals that it went to. . . Geiselburg. Once there, the scent mixes up with all the other scents, to the point that you cannot pinpoint it anymore.
Asking the cleanup crew reveals that they comprised of members of many different guilds. But it turns out they had to arrive late, because the equipment they were supposed to receive from Simulacrum ships later than expected.

After the encounter with the Living House in the town of Marmeca. Marcia lost her Crystal of Animation given by The Game Master. Or more fittingly, taken by force by Daniel Hohenheim for him to use it for a blood magic ritual to save Sirichar from dying.
Marcia left soured and filled with a bit of hatred towards Daniel after that. Yet she reported the conclusions as is. The crystal were left there as it should pose no more threat, and that she omitted the fact that she owned a smaller crystal that have the similar magical property as the house's crystal.
Yet, when she heard about the crystal being missing after it was cleaned up. She immediately reported the situation to Erina. Where Erina lead Marcia to some more articles about artifacts that is similar to the Crystal of Animation. Particulary what happens to it after it was used, eliminating articles that just said it lost it's magic and nothing else happening. And read on articles that tells that something does happen after it lost it's big juice. And Marcia would also ask adventurers who've faced the Game Master before, and ask them about their opinions on him. Does he have more devious plans set up for the world...? Or is he just some random magician looking for fun...
All in all, Marcia is trying to craft a theory, with the helps of articles given by Erina. Adventurer's account on The Game Master, on how the remains of the crystal disappear and did The Game Master have something to do with it or not.

Result for Marcia will be posted here when the campaign reaches DAY 97
Asking around about the Game Master reveals that he has visited many adventurers before. Often in different faces and persona. They challenged the adventurers to a series of deadly gauntlets. Deadly but fair, they say. The adventurers, resourceful as they are, mostly figured out a way out of his gauntlet. At the end of the gauntlet, the Game Master gifts one of them a present, seemingly random at first, but the adventurers later find out that that present from the Game Master often serves them greatly. The presents are never the same, but when they are used, they are always gone.
Articles from Erina reveals that similar artifacts works by absorbing a sentient's soul into the crystal's magical circuits and using it later to animate a construct. Depending on the size of the crystal, they might absorb the soul as a whole, or just parts of it. In the Living House's case, a whole soul of a royal mage named Alieth Livingstone. When the crystal is destroyed, the soul is released, and the crystal is rendered inert. You also find out that there are ways to recover the destroyed crystal, involving a creative way of precisely bending Ether into the crystal to recover its damaged magical circuits. Only a group of skilled craftsmen facilitated with vast equipments would be able to achieve this feat.
