Colossal Woodland Map
A map and information were given to each volunteering investigator. The map shows the view of Colossal Woodland from above.
It was drawn based on the information given by the scout team led by Eldritch Archaic, The Sky Beast Brawler.
Unfortunately due to the thick mist, the locations that can be identified from the air were limited.
Geiselburg is far west from this area (about five days by foot, one and a half day using our enhanced horse carriage),
so that hunters will be arrived on the northwestern area of the map.
Our hunters have been staying at
an encampment since a week ago nearby the mountain tunnel.
"We received a distress call from the southwestern part of this misty area while scouting the forest,
It has been identified as The Woodland Hillfort which asked for our assistance in putting down the ferocious beast.
Looks like their scouts have been injured badly while they were patrolling the area between their base and a local human village located a few hours north.
Unfortunately, they cannot afford to lend some of their men because it will leave them defenseless should there be any attack from the south.
Looks like we're on our own this time. Maybe we will need to get a reinforcement to join us in this hunt."
P.S: "I have not seen the beast yet, but there are a goblin village nearby and another area that I dare not to get close."Result Anderson from Learner's Guild revealed on Day 206
Day 200
Anderson registered himself on the quest and received a map of Colossal Woodland.
It's a long walk there and an exhausting one, but luckily a special carriage has been prepared for any volunteer joining the hunt.
He arrived at Colossal Woodland the day after and went through the mountain tunnel to scout the area with four other hunters.
Day 202
Anderson found a group of seven goblins. Seeing four menacing hunters around him, the goblins were reluctant to do any stupid move.
Anderson then tried to inquire any useful information from them.
Those goblins said that many of their kin have been preyed upon by a large creature they've never encountered before.
They totally blame the mist since they cannot anticipate the attacks.
It has been hard enough for them to survive in these areas even before those attacks.
Some goblins have decided to join their force and the number of attacks has been decreased after since.
Day 203
On the way back to the mountain tunnel, Anderson found two fresh goblin corpses lying on the ground and an hour walk from there he found another one.
All of them were brutally bitten to death, two lost their heads and one of them got its limbs severed, probably got chewed off.
The party did not dare to rest even for a moment and continue their journey through the mountain tunnel until they got back around midnight to the encampment.
Anderson bid his farewell to the hunters and promised to return again soon to join the hunt before he departed back to Geiselburg along with his findings.
Result Arina from ABC Guild revealed on Day 210Day 200
As expected from one the most prominent guildmaster in Geiselburg, Arina knows her forte in dealing with people, so she used it to her own advantage.
She visited Fairy Tail's guildmaster to get an information about where to find Nuradmul Greyfeet. Fortunately the guildmaster has a wide connection with the merchant all over Geiselburg, so she managed to find the surviving dwarf merchant faster and thus led her to gain more information from both Greyfeet and Solviest.
Day 202-203
Nuradmul was in a traumatic state, he experienced an acute stress disorder and refused to talk in the beginning. He had been terrified of anything that moves and locked himself in his place. Arina used her charming perfume to calm him down and eventually charmed him to communicate in a suitable manner. Thus dwarf began to tell Arina the story of how his trading group got attacked one night.
He, along with three hired mercenaries, were on their way of going to Woodland Hillfort, transporting barrels of beer and rations supply. The camped on the way between a local human village and the hillfort. Unfortunately the encampment got attacked by a bunch of goblins. Those evil green creatures managed to kill all three hired
mercenaries and they were about to get inside his tent where
the Nuradmul and his goods were located, until an unknown
ferocious beast started to prey on those goblins.
During that time, the poor Greyfeet peed on his pants while
holding his breath. He thought it was gonna be his last day as he heard the sound of breaking bones followed by goblins'
screams. He passed out for a moment there and found himself to be awakened by a giant bulky man carrying a steel maul. The man was turned out to be the one and only Morg
Solviest, who is also locally known as The Legendary Monster Hunter.
According to him, the creature in question was a rare beast known as The Blue Gator. Thanks to Arina's charming perfume, Nuradmul could get back on his greyfeet again and he promised that he will promote Arina's product in his daily trading life.
Nuradmul Greyfeet
Day 204-205
Arina traveled to Colossal Woodland using Fairy Tail's enhanced carriage, the one she rode before to the same place on a quest about two months ago.
The enhanced carriage was available only between day 200-205, and the next one will be available earliest in the upcoming fortnight.
Lucky her for finding Nuradmul Greyfeet early, because then she got the chance of getting on the last enhanced carriage.
She arrived at afternoon on day 205 and rest for a while. About four hunters accompanied her to find Morg Solviest.
It was very hard to find the hunter as no one has been able to locate him.
The party almost had no hope, until early on day 208 they finally found the enormously muscular man wandering around
a particular areaTo her,
Morg said, "I've only encountered it once, It was preying on goblins before it got alerted by my presence."

Result Daniel V Hohenheim from ABC Guild revealed on Day 219Day 208
When Daniel decided to join the investigation, he went to Fairy Tail and registered himself on the quest.
Unfortunately, no enhanced carriage was left on Fairy Tail's Ground-so he had to decide between going there by foot or rent a caravan.
Lucky for him having some spared coins, he rent a caravan and arrived two days later on Colossal Woodland .
Day 211-214
He got accompanied by two hunters and two of his chimeras. The journal he got from Fairy Tail's hunters consists of many assumptions since the journals were made before they have ever encountered the said beast before. He could only guess that The Blue Gator wouldn't dare to come to the nearby villages, both human village or the goblin village that lies across the river. Daniel's party did not manage to find The Blue Gator and oddly the goblins were also avoiding them at all. No encounter for almost three days and finally, after they have camped trice, they decided to go to the Woodland Hill Fort and tried to have an audience with the leader there.
At first the soldiers inside were reluctant to open the gate since there were two chimeras in Daniel's party. The sight of the unknown made them being extra careful and vigilant. However upon seeing the hunters from Fairy Tail, they were agreed to let them come in.
One of the squad leader told Daniel about the current situation, that many of the scouts have been attacked and they were running out of supply. They couldn't send anyone else to patrol the misty forest anymore and preferred to hold the fortress for the time being.
They can only last for about a month with the remaining supply. He also mentioned that the mist has never been this thick before and it happened about the same time one of their scouts saw The Blue Gator preying on goblins inside the mountain tunnel for the first time.
Day 215-216
Daniel, his chimeras, and the two hunters then bid their farewell, and return to their encampment across the woodland on the other side of the mountain. They managed to find two headless goblin corpses on the way back, but nothing else could be found.
Day 218, Daniel arrived at Fairy Tail in Geiselburg to report his findings.
