Mortimer Mofus longs the spring again. The air of that particular season entices him to remember his home. Spring air can be said as equal to his mother's embrace. The mother who he left behind, to go on a journey. He wants to taste spring air again. To bask in the memories of his home. Yes, Mort and his mother always exchanges letter, but that is still not enough. He needs something far more solid for once. Mort manages to research about a potion that can give people super fast movement that even fastest enemies cannot respond to. He names it as the "Potion of Windy Step." Yet, those details are not important. What important to Mort is the feeling of home, the embrace of her mother. What Mort needs to do first is of course: knowledge and information. He confines himself in the library of ABC, scourging through the needed information about the cave of eternal spring. Countless amounts of books and journals that are available in the library has Mort read through and through, using his Learning skill to gather as much information as he can. For about eight days straight, Mort searches about the possible location of the congregations of spring energy that are located in and out of Geiselburg. Mort also comes to find Miss Boldash of Fairy Tail, asking for her knowledge on the subject of a cave that always forever sets in spring. Previously, Miss Boldash asked for his help in investigating a runestone cave near the Fairy Tail Headquarters. His Persuasion skill is lacking, yet he tries his best talking to the opposite sex: something a stuttering and lisping soyboy find extremely hard to do. After such long period of information gathering, Mort then tries to go out for seeing the possibility himself. He goes to the far-reached location in Upponia: the corners of wilderness. He has bad Perception skill, however, and he is sure of himself to not find anything important. But, well, Mort is surely longing his mother, surely missing the memories of the spring air. Anything that can make him feel a bit closer to his mother, he shall do it. A week of going out in the wild is not going to hurt him. Perhaps. Attributes: - Learning: 5
- Persuasion: 0, yet is substituted as Might: 4 from feat Brutal Intimidation

Quest End : DAY 237
Thanks to your expertise in basic information gathering, and the library courtesy of ABC, you've managed to track down the most probable location of such cave is. It should be located well underground near where the sun shines a lot, but also where wind blows the strongest. Essentially it's a middle point where several area with extreme weather averages out into a spring weather.
Boldash of the Fairy Tail, unfortunately has no idea of where such place exists. Basically everyone in Geiselburg only knows about a rumor of it, nothing more. You are probably one of the most knowledgeable person concerning this cave.
You set out to the wilds, to eliminate all of the probable places one by one, until you finally found it. You went through all kinds of terrain, and this really takes a lot out of you (You receive 4 stacks of Fatigued)The cave matches the description from the rumor and what you have inferred so far. Inside, you find all sorts of vegetation that would only grow healthy in Spring, yet here they grow out of season, and in vigor too. Immediately, you gather everything you can from the cave, enough to concoct 10 vials filled with Essence of Spring. You can use this essence in any potions that needs it.
After that, you leave the cave after charting the location of the cave into your map. Another journey to this place from Geiselburg should take a total of 5 days marching, 3 days by carriage if you have WL 2 to rent one.
