Days All These Happened: [Day 270]
Guild:
Il ConciergeInitial PP: 4
Means of Completion:
This Part is Done by the Boss (Vincent):
The Boss of
Il Concierge, a man who always brings his cigarette around, is sitting down at his office. The smoke that wafts from his tight mouth hangs in the air, creating a sort of barrier that seems to hide him. His eyes are sharp, but a little bit hint of happiness is there.
Or something. His lips are still closed tight as ever, yet if you squint your eye for once you can see that they are forming a lovely crescent shape of a smile. Somehow. We do not know much about him, as he is too mysterious of a character. Yet, reading what the reports his underlings made on their first guild action makes him feel relaxed.
His guild tries to solve the problems of the increasing deaths of the new adventurers in Geiselburg. The least he can do is to ask the request office about the primary reason why these new adventurers are falling like flies. After getting more information on the reason, he thought that this is due to their own foolishness. The boss wants to set that straight.
The boss decides to go out with one of his underlings, the wealthy weasel, to the printing office. The boss has set up a rough day of an adventuring handbook, a guidebook for the newbies to read to increase their chance of success in the wild. The information contained on the book is mostly taken from another underling of his, Einword, who has his share of experience as an adventurer.
The boss is quiet, but his heart tells what he wishes: "With this rough handbook, more lives can be saved." He thinks of that while smoking at the face of the weasel underling who accompanies him there. The boss then gives the printed handout to the request office. He demands nothing, staying true to his mysteriousness until the end.
Hopefully, what his heart wishes can be a reality. Soon.
This Part is Done by the Matter Manipulator (Einword Blackwood):
We believe that many of young and novice adventurer doesn't pay enough attention to what quest they are taking or just general adventuring misconduct, and that matter can be abated by providing more information and general tips about choosing quest.
Einword, using his perk as a
[Street Rat] and
[Profession : Bartender] will gather info and rumour that is afloat about quest, their requirements, and general adventuring tips, those information would then be processed to become community curated quest list and adventuring handbook. He also uses the guild's resource to set up an information board where all adventurers can freely put their own tips and trick to the adventure near the quest board in the request office.
With help of people with same profession, and the
[Guild Profession : Counsel], he will then try to initiate 'adventurer hour' in bars across Geiselburg, as a media to encourage veteran and new adventurer to share their stories and perhaps setting up a mentorship.
This Part is Done by the Mad Old Man (Nibelungen Ó Muircheartach):
The old man relishes in the death of others. Their falling onto death's embrace is the most gleeful moment he can think of. Yet, seeing them fall one by one without struggle is... bland. He needs to make them squirming for their life, grasping for help, then is able to fully stand from their fall--Fearlessly facing what they fear before with renewed tenacity.
All journey leads to death, however. Thus, he sympathizes the others who fall before him. Being reminded of death is such a weak feeling. He abhors such stupidity. But yeah, he must do something. Else, he will die. Like the others. He cannot let that happen. For now, at least. Thus, his madness leads him to try helping in solving the problem.
The statistics are mere numbers for him. You can put factors that will change it onto anywhere you desire. The old man knows that much. To help with his newly found guild taking the guild action, he uses his
attractiveness to help swaying the new adventurers and the request office workers to be more willing to take and post, respectively, the least dangerous quests around. This is done to make the newbie adventurers have more chance to be able to gain their experience from doing the lower-risk quests to enhance their safety. He does this at
[Day 270].
He also uses his connections he gain from being an
upper class to make the wealthy people he knows are willing to sponsor the weak new adventurers with more suitable equipments on
[Day 271]. The two things he do is in line with his guild profession,
[Counsel], giving suitable advices and judgments to the betterment of something. He hopes that what he can do can help his guild in whatever shape and forms. He does this also for his own sake of living, however. The mad old man fears death. He certainly does not want his death too soon, as he is also a new adventurer looking for more in life.
This Part is Done by the Diplomat (Nivels Mosley):
Nivels does not want more adventurers fall to their death by mere lack of experience. To him, equipping the new adventurers with more suitable equipment seems to be the priority. The adventurers with good tools and good knowledge of the field can sustain their life better.
As Nivels is an
upper class from his perk, he lobbies others to give the new adventurers an edge in perhaps a better equipment. Nivels ask his acquaintances to ask for their acquiescence on the matter. His perk of
extraordinary presence can also raise the chance. He asks the request office to advise them to let the newbie adventurers getting warnings and cautions before taking quests that are far from their capabilities.
He also accompanies his boss to do some printing on the proposed handbook for the newbie adventurers. His doings are moved by his drive to help anyone in whatever shapes or forms, and thus very close to what his guild's, the Il Concierge, profession as a
counsel is.
