Days Happened : [Day 422-]
Guild(s) Involved : Cobalt Sky Services in partnership with Il Concierge
PP Contributed : 4
Means of Completion :
Upon receiving a proposal to work together to convict The Buress Family from Il Concierge. Erina calls upon Celia to study the reports on Investigation works on Buress Family given by Il Concierge. Hatching up a movement plan for everyone in Cobalt Sky to contribute in this collaboration. Itha-me and Merisa were left out as they're either unavailable to help or would bring more harm than good in the action.
First thing first, Celia and Erina utilizes the broad connection of trades outside Upponia to crosscheck the names mentioned in the "Suitor Gifts" ledger and find which was real and which was not. Upon having every names checked out and finding out some dirty laundries on them. Erina hatches an improvement to the plan, which... The plan was to bring down the Buress Family utilizing the foreign noble with a trial proceeding.
She then assigns Celia to propose to the Roundtable to start a trial proceeding on the Buress Family as Cobalt Sky Tradings in alliance with Il Concierge have the means and evidence necessary to take them down. While showing the evidences so far and a brief explanation of her plan to stop the Buress Family.
Erina then calls out Fir, who's ability to shapeshift is a secret to everyone but her. She assigns him to pose as a foreign noble whose name is mentioned in the ledger, what he would do is that to testify in court. Confirming their involvement and denounce Luca Buress. Hoping that this movement would draw the real person to Geiselburg. (Fir have Mimic Feat + 5 in Alteration and Silver Tongue perk if that helps)
Marcia and Scylla were next to be assigned. They were chosen to guard Fir while he poses as the foreign noble, and to catch the real person as they arrive. They were also helping to thwart Buress Family movements to foil this trial along with the Roundtable guilds.
Erina, she will have a 1-on-1 talk session with the foreign noble that Marcia and Scylla caught, privately. She would threaten the noble to have their reputation and family ruined with all the dirty info that she found on them. Promising not to reveal the dirty info if they help her with bringing down the Buress Family, with burdening evidences and testimonies that will find them hard to seek innocence.
Celia, along with ARC branch of Cobalt Sky will look into evidences with traces of magic and a possible usage of some certain artifact or magical item. Perhaps deeper knowledge of those evidences could further burdening the Buress Family into a guilty sentence.
Extra Note : Marcia goes away on day 427-429 to rescue a certain red tiefling's girlfriend, leaving all the workload to Scylla for those days.

Guild Action Success! Both guilds earned 3 XP! PP required from Il Concierge is reduced by 1!{DAY 430} To everyone's surprise, when the names are thoroughly investigated via guild connections by Erina. . . they are fake. No nobles by the names on the ledger lives anywhere. This means that Luca has been inventing foreign nobility to mask his illegal activity, pretending to buy gifts for suitors from foreign lands while he use the fund to purchase slaves.
Since Geiselburg has no jurisdiction to try a noble from the City-State, the matter was brought up to an emergency summit session at Lutecia, with all the leaders of the Roundtable present, along with influential nobles. It was to be IC's word against an entire nation.
Thanks to Einword telling people about the issue, a lot of adventurers are present in the public deliberation session at the summit. They are there to see if the process is fair and to see what truth would come out in the cross-examination.
Nivels, along with the testimony from the fake nobles played wonderfully by Fir is essentially the move that breaks the stale mate into a checkmate against the Buress family. Luca was so surprised that the fake nobles appeared in the deliberation. Cornered, he had no choice to admit that the names are fake. Though this reveal that the adventurer used a shapeshifter in the process, the result is clear. Luca Buress had to confess on all his wrongdoing. This, is bolstered by the confession of the slaver that worked with Luca Buress.
The full truth is that Luca Buress had been buying slaves from a Ravenclaw slaver. The slaver, seeing a client rich in wealth, wanted to keep him as customer, so he proposed that he stays on Alfenthal City to supply Luca with the prettiest slaves for him to 'play' with. Luca agreed, giving them a place to stay in the second manor that the Buress had not used for years. Hiding there, the slaver run the whole operation in discretion. Slaves are only moved into the second manor only, and only at the middle of the night, to prevent people seeing the movement. Luca himself would only peruse the 'products' by teleporting from the first manor directly to the second manor, that way he would not be seen ever entering the second manor, and could deny allegations of colluding with the slaver by claiming that he doesn't know that they've been squatting there. This whole operation needs funds, so all the funds that's charged to Luca has been masked by him as buying gifts for suitors from another land, so as to not draw suspicion and to make it hard to confirm the purchase.
Further investigation reveals that the only person that's implicated in the crime is Luca Buress. The rest of the family members had no idea what he's been doing all this time. The rest of the family condemned Luca and he's brought to the City-States' court to be tried for severe punishment. Gildur is freed from captivity after it's explained that he's there to investigate the matter in covert, but fails to do so. Gildur returned to Geiselburg with a lethal damage equal to half of his total HP and 5 level of fatigued, of which cannot recover using the same days as the ones used to recover lethal damage
After all this, Peche and Nibel hears of whispers from the nobles. Turns out several plots are already in motion to force the adventurers into a position of debt with the City-States, in order to prevent Geiselburg from being too powerful. Knowing what just happened, these nobles got cold feet and canceled those plots. They are now afraid that if found to be guilty of the plots, they would lose everything, just like Luca did.
