Now that we know that all banes are inflicted with Major Action, including Provoked Bane, I want to keep it as a minor action, but I need a way to justify it as such.
The caveats for inflicting the bane with minor action mentioned in the poll are : - Can only be inflicted with Deception/Persuasion/Presence - Added defense to the target. +3 at the minimal, more at the GM's discretion
If you have any other inputs or ideas, feel free to reply to this thread!

added defense to the one who is provoking? thats really good i dont mind taking feats for that tier 1 add 3 guard when provoking tier 2 add 6 guard tier 3 add 9 guard even if its require 9 fp to take tier 3 thats fp well spent + resistance pl7 i would be an unstopable tank for real nothing can hurt me

read carefully guaplei, I wrote added defense to the target. And it's not a feat, it's just caveat on inflicting the bane with minor action.
the feat option would not do anything but allow the bane to be able to be inflicted with a minor action

Yes for point 1, that makes investing in other stats have their use now instead of just being statdump, also adding limiting bane availability so not everyone can do this
Need elaboration for point 2, what defense is being raised? Personally i would suggest being provoked raised one defense and reducing the other depends on the flavour used, example : since being provoked enemy assume a better stance hence added guard, but lowered mental acuity from attacker other than the provoker, hence lowering resolve, that would result in interesting interaction and not just adding flat number
