Pinot, The Living Woodwork
Campaign Rules
Race : Wooden Puppet
Languages : Common (It can speak any language it hears, although it wouldn't understand what it means).
Background
In the wake of Deandra's son and husband's death, she grieves in the many ways she can, including drowning herself in busy work. So many things she does, but it wasn't until she gets to do something fun that hits her: entertaining children. Due to being a mother, she can't help but feel kinship in regards to kids, and she feels like she's...happy. Happy whenever she gets to meet children. Their laugh, their cuteness. And that's when she realizes her love of puppetry. And with that knowledge in mind, she decided to make herself a puppet, in remembrance of her son as well. A wooden, child-like puppet named Pinot.
With Pinot, she entertains many children with the antics he and she's up to, and thanks to her magic it makes her puppetry shows even more entertaining, up to and including talking using the puppet's mouth as if he's really talking, creating things out of his hands, making kids feel warm and fuzzy with her magic, the list goes on. Until one day, when suddenly a rogue thunderstorm struck close to Deandra's house, and unfortunately strikes right at the puppet. As she wakes up to observe what happens, she sees her puppet already flung to the wall...and suddenly starts walking.
And it wasn't long before the puppet starts talking as well, although it doesn't seem like he's talking with his own voice so much as he takes anyone's voices he heard before and uses it as his own vocals, and he even has magic powers up his sleeves now, although his seemed to be more on the side of protection and altering things, able to transform any food Deandra creates into something else, and even protects her from harm. With the letter assigned to Deandra, he's cautiously walking his first step into the true outside world...wondering if his...mother's gonna be okay...
