{Background}
He was a simple hunter from the village of Uri, somewhere in the continent. He lived there with his son, together braving the wilderness each day. He is an agile person despite his old age and can aim his attacks from a long distance. He was considered as nature's ally, someone that is blessed by nature and having the power that can manipulate the wilderness, in turn protecting the nature that gives them power.
His main weaponry is the dagger and heavy crossbow. Nature blesses his body by forming protecting vines, that can make his constitution tougher. Nature chose him to fight against the tyranny of a noble, Gessler, who ruled Uri with an iron fist. Other than his corrupt nature when ruling, Gessler hunted animals without restraints, cutting down trees disregarding the effects to the environment, and burning the forests down.
He fought against Gessler but eventually lost. As the punishment for rebelling, Gessler forced him to do a challenge, shooting an apple atop his own son's head, to test (read: mock) his marksman skill. He failed to do so, injuring and killing his own flesh and blood. As guilt ate him, he fled from his village. Days of constant running and fleeing eventually make him came to Geiselburg, a city of adventurers.
To redeem himself; to gather more experience enough to defeat the tyrant; to prepare for another battle, a battle to absolve of his sin... He comes there.
