{Background}
Without a cause, without a master to serve, without purpose, without a code, what good is a man?
Gale spend his early years raised as an orphan in Jade Wind monastery, on top of Mount Song.
As a kitten, he was given education in martial arts unique to Jade wind, the way of Wind shear.
He have a place there as a monk, yet he choose to leave the place as he never feel tranquility that other of his peers seems to achieve there.
When other find peace in movement of the wind as it caress their sense, Gale feel only restlessness.
One day, he leave the monastery with only his blade and his clothing.
He wandered around the land, taking jobs here and there until he come to service of a Daimyo, lord of a land. Eager to prove himself, he fought valiantly in battle. Be it because of luck, skills or divine intervention he survived many skirmish and promoted to the Daimyo bodyguard, a retainer. A role that he cherish as he gain new comrades, wealth and purpose this way. His Daimyo was not a peaceful man. Bloodshed is inevitable in the warring states, and yet Gale believed his master vision will bring peace to this troubled land. Until one day he found his daimyo slain in his bed chamber, choking on blood, with no sign of struggle. His Daimyo have been poisoned. The lord house soon disbanded,the land that he sworn to protect is left without master and quickly carved up, taken by its many contenders.
Now he find himself without cause, without purpose, with only his honor code by his side. He sail to Geiselburg, where he will try to find another purpose there.
Explanation for Attsub :
The way of Wind shear is a martial arts controlling wind itself. By attuning to the elements, muscle movement, sword slash, projectiles will have a force of wind propelling them harder and faster. At higher mastery, practitioner of Wind Shear can become one with the elements, making huge gusts, creating protective swirling wind on their body, manipulating wind currents in their ally or enemy body, or even become one with air and displace their form with the wind.

Bushido, the way of the blade, the path of Honor. To Gale, as a man without cause the code is the only thing that he have now.

He have tasted battle and grievous Injury. Compelled by his code, Gale can control his fear and charge head first into battle, knowing it will be his last.
