“The latest war? Huh—what I can tell is that the colossal bloodshed enjoyed by all soldiers and our guildmembers who were participated at that time. It is the biggest the war we ever encountered up until now, Pon. Also the biggest victory!
Yes. Giants? Mehh—they were no threat, pon.
We met with the refugees of the fort on day 691, those soldiers looked okay to me, at least well fed and well equiped. I assumed that Dorupon and her recon troops really did their job well at delivering the rations and supplies. Well I bought most of the equipment and medicine from my merchant friends—but mehhh, for those soldiers' safety and sanity, I'd say it was well spent. Not to mention some creations from out specialist, including Mortpon—those are really handy counter-weapon, Pon.
Oh--Asfuld along with the other rangers scouted the area and found there are around 60 giants there, 10-20 feet high, some are seen with warhammers. Funny—they didn't expect that we prepared lots of surprises for them. I still remember what Dorupon told me about her attempt at taunting those dumb brutes. Mahahaa.. Let me demonstrate, Pon!”
Basically the giant was [here], other one was [there], and there's also anothere [somewhere here]. He started assigning spots in the air that seem arbitrary.
“So.. While those giants were patrolling, one of them got stabbed by a dagger.
Confusedly they tried to find the source of the thrown dagger—and there they saw Dorupon sitting on top of the gate, shouting something like “Hey—Poopface, come here and get me!
They were angry of course, but when they ran towards her—she's gone.
Mahaha—and this is when it got interesting.
She appeared on one of the giants' shoulder and shouted to the ear, “Yeah—you Poopface!” to which one of them got provoked and swung their hammer towards the said poopface—it was a mess, pon. A few seconds after that vice commander of mine were seen doodling a poop on one of their face using her dagger—mahahhaa.. she can be really mean sometimes, pon--but that' how she managed to get most of them outside the fort.
Once they got outside, it was just a matter of time before they got ambushed, rained by acid arrows while their feet got entangled with treants' roots. Oh yeah, these living trees were really helpful—they were strong and durable. I kinda underestimated them when Asfuldpon and Milopon showed me such creations weeks ago. Well, who could've thought—the Greenhill Coalition and the newly founded druid circle were really a boost for our military power, Pon.
Oh now that I think about it, is there any plant speech that I could learn? I would like to learn red onion-language..
Anyway,
We captured lots of them. Those giants.
The rest were bombarded from the air by that new member—I think I met her a couple of days before, Lisapon or Ryupon—or both, I'm not sure Pon. Looks like raising wyvern or dragon armies would be a thing in Fairy Tail's future agenda. Some of them wanted escape through the front gate—but the soldiers and more treants led by Marxpon blocked their way. Seeing him, before I went inside myself, I couldn't believe that Marx really got mysterious disease. He was awesome, Pon! Most of the soldiers kinda looked up to him as well—guess that's what to be expected from a veteran soldier, Pon. Moreover, thanks to the team led by Daretti the inside got filled with smokes everywhere—it was chaotic, for them of course, mahaha!!
After all that, the giantess emerged from inside the bailey, she started stomping and smashing, before the our rangers emerged and started firing acidic arrows at the creature. Was it really so evil as to warrant such an attack? Or was it a misunderstood creature, just looking for some affection in a cold world? We’ll never know, pon--because after their three hours battle – despite the giantess seeming to have the upper hand at one point – it was dead, pon. I wouldn't want to go into details but what i can tell is that it took us more time to cremate all of them than to defeat them or to recapture the place.
Uhh—now I remember how much work we did to rebuild the hillfort, but—all in all, mission completed, everyone survived, and that is what matters.”
P.S: Where is Azu? I haven't seen him ever since I got back.
